Global R&D Manager, Akcros Chemicals, Eccles, Manchester I have been involved with the Manchester Polymer Group for many years and currently am Chairman of the Social Committee.

My work experience lies in the PVC area - formulating, processing and end use performance. I also have laboratory management expertise linked to QSHE processes and systems including Risk Assessment and Product Stewardship activities. I am also Chairman of the IOM3 PVC Committee which links in to the Plastics and Rubber Division.

I believe it is very important that the plastics and rubber community maintains a strong identity in the area and also has a strong representation within our Institute.
