A qualified Polymer Technologist (Polish born - Cheshire bred) with 35 years experience in marketing / business / product development and training in the polymer processing industry.

Following University and industrial training I took up employment with Shell Research / WCB Plastics Ltd and for 21 years the BASF Plastics Division in senior technical support positions - the latter involving extensive contact with relevant companies in Continental and Eastern Europe with ample opportunity to exercise my fluent German and Polish!!.

In 1995 I took a career swerve and became active as a consultant with principle contracts over the last eight years with the Institute of Materials - Materials Information Service / The British Plastics Federation / Polymer Training Ltd / Rubber and Plastics Research Association and the Plastics Consultancy Network.

My Institute involvement to date includes Membership of Council / Membership of the Plastics and Rubber Board and Chairmanship of the Manchester Polymer Group.
